These instructions are the same for both setting up a retailer and supplier account.
1. Create Ship Engine Account
You must first register for a Ship Engine account. You can select what type of plan works best for you by viewing pricing here.
2. Setup Carriers
Once you have a ship engine account setup you can begin by adding your carriers. You can use existing carrier accounts you have setup already or begin creating new ones by logging into your carrier sites.
For information on connecting your carriers you can follow Ship Engine's instructions provided here.
3. Setup API Key in Logicbroker
Once your carrier's are setup lets add the integration. It is recommended to begin this process in your staging environment first to test how labels are created and verify your data is processing properly.
In the ShipEngine portal navigate to API Management, click Create New Key if you do not have one and copy that key.
Then in the Logicbroker portal navigate to Settings > Connections > Click the ShipEngine tab > Paste the copied key and click Save
4. Setup Shipment Mappings
If you will be sending custom shipping method codes on the order to be used to create labels, then you should map to the following standard codes. To learn more how to map your custom codes see this article.
