How it works
Products
Flow: Seller > Logicbroker > Walmart Marketplace
Product data stored in Logicbroker's Product Onboarding Center is sent to Walmart Marketplace on a schedule (hourly at 10 minutes past the hour). Seller can manage the data in the portal before sending it to Walmart Marketplace.
Inventory
Flow: Seller > Logicbroker > Walmart Marketplace

Inventory updates in the Logicbroker system will be sent into Walmart Marketplace on a schedule (every 15 minutes).

Pricing

Sellers have 2 options to send pricing updates into Walmart Marketplace:

  1. Through Inventory: Sellers will update the Logicbroker Cost field on Inventory and this updates the Walmart Marketplace Price field on their site. To send pricing updates through Inventory, go to Connections > Connectors > Walmart > General > Include Price on Inventory > set this to true
(Note: this setting will be set to false by default)

  2. Through Products: Sellers will update the Logicbroker Selling Price on Products and this updates the Walmart Marketplace Price field on their site. This is the defaule behavior and does not require any setup

Orders
Flow: Walmart Marketplace > Logicbroker > Seller
Orders are sent from the retailer to Logicbroker. Logicbroker then transforms the order data into a format the seller can easily understand and passes it into the seller's system.

Acceptance Acknowledgments
Flow: Seller > Logicbroker > Walmart Marketplace
Sellers will acknowledge orders letting Walmart Marketplace know the order has been received and will be shipped. This can be done by creating an Acceptance Acknowledgements or having Logicbroker automatically create this on the sellers behalf. If you'd like for Logicbroker to automatically send out acceptancences, reach out to support@logicbroker.com.

Cancellations
Seller Flow: Seller > Logicbroker > Walmart Marketplace
Walmart Flow: Walmart Marketplace > Logicbroker > Seller
For orders that cannot be shipped, sellers should create and send a Cancellation Acknowledgement that will be sent to Walmart Marketplace letting them know the order will not be shipped. For orders that are cancelled by the customer, Logicbroker will pull in the cancellation and send it to the seller's system.

Shipments
Flow: Seller > Logicbroker > Walmart Marketplace
When sellers submit a shipment in the Logicbroker system, Logicbroker will send this shipment into Walmart Marketplace and the customer will be notified the order has been shipped. A valid tracking number is required so the customer can track delivery progress from the Walmart site.

Returns
Return Request Flow: Walmart Marketplace > Logicbroker > Seller
Return Response Flow: Seller > Logicbroker > Walmart Marketplace
In the case where a customer initates a return, sellers can accept returns through Logicbroker. The process to follow would be:

  1. The customer initiates the return from their Walmart account
  2. Logicbroker pulls in the return
  3. The seller creates a return response off the return request document in Logicbroker
  4. Logicbroker posts back the refund back to Walmart Marketplace
