Test Cases

Audience: Retailers

In this article, you will find information on supported testing scenarios. The sections within this article are outlined below:

Overview

Logicbroker supports a variety of testing scenarios retailers can have configured to have their suppliers walk through as part of the supplier onboarding process. Retailers should work with their account manager to add or edit test cases.

Test cases

Fulfillment
Order fulfillment - the supplier processes and fulfills the entire order. This can be applied to:

  • Single-line order
  • Multi-line order
Cancallation
Order cancellation- the supplier submits a cancellation acknowledgment for the entire order. Cancellation reasons and specific line/quantities can be configured depending on retailer specifications. This can be applied to:

  • Single-line order
  • Multi-line order
Partial fulfillment/cancellation
Partial Order fulfillment/cancellation - the supplier submits a cancellation for part of the order and processes and fulfills the rest of the order. Cancellation reasons and specific line/quantities can be configured depending on retailer specifications. This can be applied to:

  • Multi-line order
Return
Order return- the supplier processes and fulfills the entire order and then processes a return. Return reasons and specific line/quantities can be configured depending on retailer specifications. This can be applied to:

  • Single-line order
  • Multi-line order
Order change
Order change - the supplier reviews and accepts retailer order changes. This is meant to mimic an EDI 860 order change process, however, during the testing, the supplier will not receive an 860 document. This can be applied to:

  • Single-line order
  • Multi-line order

Grouping

Test cases can be grouped in the case where retailers only required suppliers to process one test case in a group of test cases. Once one test case is completed in the group, the other test cases in that group will move to Complete
